DESTINATION & STUDIO

Nestled in the serene beauty of Playa Ocotal, Papagayo, Costa Rica, we have a studio available and a stunning beach just steps away – all just 30 miles from LIR Airport. In CR we specialize in the Papagayo Peninsula and Tamarindo area BUT of course we LOVE a gorgeous destination. Being so close to the airport we are always ready with passport in hand. We have photographed weddings in England, Bahamas, Belize, Mexico, throughout The States coastal and mountains…. Need a good excuse to come to Costa Rica – I love photographing elopements, micro weddings, engagements, portraits and personal branding. I make it fun even if you’re shy with photos. Can’t wait for our session!

Fun Facts About Thisbe Grace

Based in Costa Rica with California, Dallas and Oklahoma roots, I’m Thisbe Grace and was born with an extra nostalgic gene. That leads me to enjoy collecting and organizing historical family photographs, loving quality time with my kids and family immensely, nature walks in the rain, early sunrise yoga sessions and planning my next photoshoot. I’ve loved snowboarding and scuba diving since I was 18… Not much snowboarding in CR so I plan for the winter breaks…. 🙂 When Mark and I first dated we ran an international wholesale travel company and have unforgettable travel stories…. That was before we decided to focus on photography leading us to California at Brooks Institute of Photography after graduating from SMU. I love music so much it’s not uncommon to find me onto the dance floor photographing and dancing (plus there was 5 years of first chair flute lol)…. Oh and I am a bit of perfectionist….. Organization is my jam – so you’re safe to say any client can come back and retrieve what I’ve photographed from day one. A bit of a kid myself – let’s be honest, why else would I have asked to photograph the school portraits of our beloved Dallas private school The Spanish House when they didn’t have portraits or maybe I’m crazy. Ha! I jump in always when it comes to photography…. And love to help others and the environment. Now in Costa Rica – we assist with the Coral Restoration project through planting, cleaning and finding donors. I’ve been hired as creative director for big photoshoots but prefer to capture candids and editorial documenting the magic as it unfolds naturally….. With the exception of a few classic and heirloom portraits in between and probably lots of planning on what shots I already have in mind… Haha… I absolutely adore animals, coffee, fresh air and sunshine, snow capped mountains, authentic celebrations and a wild spirit at the core.
